Data Migration - especially ERP / DataWarehouse
When producing data warehouses you get to move a lot of data, commonly 5-20 systems connected per warehouse and it all has to be clean and meet a common model. This is essentially the same skill required to manage a SAP Migration and Data Cleanse project or Oracle 11i Ebusiness equivalent. Vivamex have now led four such projects. On one project we were invited to migrate three manufacturing sites onto one of the biggest SAP implementations in Europe. The result was an outstanding success which surprised both the business and R/3 consultants in its comprehensiveness. On the second and third we delivered both migration an cleansing leadership skills to a major UK Telco. On the fourth the target was Oracle 11i Ebusiness suite and Primavera. Vivamex possesses and established way of working that is known to work, backed up by pre-built cleansing and monitoring solutions to ensure the data is fit for purpose.

Web development
This site is clear, simple and fit for purpose. More impressive are those we have built for other companies - most especially around web based data capture for warehouses and major MIS systems. Gone are the days when it was necessary to send out streams of Excel templates for a survey and then have to correct them all on return. Migration & Cleanse Tools
Our migration data cleanse tools are constructed in MS Access, in which we are extremely competent. Access has a weak reputation for long term systems development but is ideal for "migration only" throw aways as effective data handling code can be written in just days at extremely low cost.
